Ashlea Munro
Ashlea is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist. She studied at The University of Newcastle and began her journey in speech pathology at 16, after tagging along to an appointment with one of her younger brothers which ignited her passion for communication. Her clinical passions include early language development, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) assessment and intervention, early phonological awareness skills, and oral narrative development.
Before moving to the Gold Coast, Ashlea gained valuable experience working in an allied health private practice in Sydney. She is highly dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of her clients and is committed to helping them reach their communication goals. Ashlea firmly believes that therapy should be fun and engaging, particularly for little ones, as this fosters motivation and connection.
Outside of work, Ashlea enjoys painting, drawing, cycling, and reading, and she’s always catching up on the latest Netflix shows. As the eldest of six siblings, she’s a natural when it comes to nurturing and supporting others. She also loves spending time with her family and her furry children.
